Fighting to make a rare disease a non-existent disease
Duchenne is a rare, lethal, progressive, muscle-wasting disease, primarily occurring in boys. Those with Duchenne are usually diagnosed before the age of 5, may use a wheelchair by 12, and most don't survive their mid-20s.
In recent years new gene-based therapies have emerged that hold much promise for the treatment of dystrophic muscle.
To raise awareness and ask for support we created the Delete Duchenne campaign telling the story of a bright future that doesn't feel so far off as long as we fight together.
